When to use the comparative and superlative adjectives?

1- Comparatives are used when you want to compare between two things or two people.( e.g She is shorter than her sister.)
2- Superlatives are used when you want to show the difference between more than two things or more than two people. (e.g She is the prettiest girl in her class.)

Choose the suitable word according to the sentence.
1- Giselle is (prettiest , prettier) than her sister.
2- Khalid is the (taller , tallest) guy in the class.
3- The rabbit is  (fastest , faster) than the turtle.
4- The ant is  (smaller , smallest) of all.
5- Josefina is (shorter , shortest) than her cousin.
6- She has the (smartest , smarter) mind ever.
7- Lucy’s team is ( fastest , faster) than my team.
8- My house is the (largest , larger) of all the houses.
9- The pool of my house is ( deeper , deepest) than my friend’s pool.
