comparative and superlative adjectives

When to use the comparative and superlative adjectives?
1- Comparatives are used when you want to compare between two things or two people.( e.g She is shorter than her sister.)
2- Superlatives are used when you want to show the difference between more than two things or more than two people. (e.g She is the prettiest girl in her class.)
